They’re just so low quality and they provide such a bad feedback to anyone who you’re talking to. Go for a normal jack connection every single time. Also avoid any of the in ear headphone with mic models out there – they’re just so uncomfortable. You want a proper headset and something with proper padding.

The best kind of over ear headphones with mic you can get are ones made for gaming. This doesn’t mean you have to game with them – you can do whatever you want of course – but it means they’re built for quality and comfort because gamers generally wear them for long periods of time. Now I’m not going to recommend my own headset because they’re far too expensive and really they don’t do that much more than others do (I only got them because they didn’t have mine in stock and sent me this for half the price instead). But what I am going to suggest is a pair I’ve seen selling for well over $100 in the past and currently (although keep in mind this price can change at any time and I might not have noticed it) it’s less than $25.
They’re a great quality headset, they’re comfortable and built for performance. They look pretty stylish and they’re at a great price. If you’re looking for the best over ear headphones with mic then this is the best one to go for without a doubt.
